Scam Falcon is operated by Levy Labs Pty Ltd (ACN 694411259). This policy explains what
information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information We Collect
Scam Falcon may collect the following types of information depending on how you use the app:
Content you submit for checking (see below)
Basic usage data necessary for the app to function
Account information, such as your email address, when you register
Content You Submit for Checking
The core function of Scam Falcon is checking content you give us. This may include screenshots,
messages, emails, links, phone numbers and other material you choose to submit.
How it's processed. When you submit content, it is sent to Google's Gemini AI service for
automated analysis, and a result is returned to you. Google processes this content on our behalf
as a service provider.
Where it's processed. Gemini processes content on servers located in the United States and
other countries where Google operates. This means your content is disclosed outside Australia. By
submitting content, you consent to this disclosure. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is
handled appropriately, but overseas recipients are subject to the laws of the countries in which
they operate.
What we retain. We retain submitted content and the results generated for 55 days in order
to operate the app and investigate incorrect results. After that period it is deleted.
Content about other people. Content you submit often contains information about other people,
such as the sender of a message. Please only submit content you have received or that you are
entitled to share, and where possible remove personal or financial details that aren't relevant
to the check.
Please don't submit more than you need to. Avoid including passwords, banking credentials,
identity document numbers or health information in what you send us.
Automated Decision-Making
Scam Falcon's assessments are generated by automated analysis using AI, without human review.
These results can be wrong in both directions: real scams may be missed, and legitimate content
may be flagged. Results are informational only and shouldn't be relied on as the sole basis for
any decision.
Account Data
When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you
provide. This data is used to authenticate you and provide personalised features. You may request
deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at support@scamfalcon.com
In-App Purchases
Scam Falcon offers in-app purchases processed by the Apple App Store. We do not
store or handle your payment information directly. All transactions are managed by the respective
platform, subject to their terms and privacy policies.
We Don't Sell Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or marketing
purposes.
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the app, which are:
Google (Gemini) — to analyse content you submit for scam indicators
Apple — to process in-app purchases
RevenueCat — to manage subscriptions
We may also disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect the safety
of our users.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with
an updated effective date.
